Boston Red Sox outfielder Rusney Castillo had something to celebrate Friday despite his team’s 3-2 loss to the New York Yankees.
Castillo launched a solo shot — his second home run in as many games — over the Green Monster and out of Fenway Park. And the Cuban defector said he’s starting to return to form after being out of professional baseball for almost a year and a half.
“I feel really good, especially physically,” Castillo said through a translator. “I’m starting to fall into a little bit more of a routine, so from a physical standpoint I’m getting closer to where I want to be.”
