Even the cameramen in Kansas City are making plays these days.
The Royals, who have been flashing leather all season, benefited from more exceptional defense Tuesday while defeating the Baltimore Orioles in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series at Kauffman Stadium. One of the ALCS showdown’s most impressive plays, however, was made by a cameraman along the third base line.
Sure, it wasn’t quite in the same category as Mike Moustakas’ tumbling grab. But look at that poise. If the Royals end up needing a replacement at some point this October, they might only need to look to the right of the visitors’ dugout.
Then again, the Royals seem to be doing just fine with what they have. K.C. is one win away from advancing to the World Series.
