Seth Griffith’s Second NHL Goal Helps Bruins Tie Wild In First Period (Video)

Seth Griffith hasn’t been in the NHL long, but he certainly is making his presence felt on the Boston Bruins.

After being recalled by the team on Oct. 20, Griffith scored his first career goal in a 5-3 win over the San Jose Sharks. On Tuesday, he found the back of the net again to help the Bruins tie the score against the Minnesota Wild in the first period.

Griffith made a hard drive to the net in the attacking zone and was rewarded with a perfect saucer pass from center David Krejci, which he tapped past Wild goaltender Niklas Backstrom to tie the game 1-1. The 21-year-old wasn’t done there, adding an acrobatic goal in the second period for his second score of the night.
