Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane arguably is the most exciting player to watch in the NHL.
He produces beautiful, highlight-reel goals on a consistent basis, and it didn’t take him long to give fans a goal to remember early in the 2014-15 NHL season.
The former Conn Smythe Trophy winner was the second Blackhawks player to take part in Thursday night’s shootout after Chicago and the Dallas Stars played a scoreless overtime in the teams’ season opener.
Kane scored the winning goal of the shootout with a fantastic backhand shot that beat Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen top shelf.
