Where there’s smoke, there sometimes isn’t fire.
Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving debuted a rather interesting handshake Monday following the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 118-111 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. The celebration prompted the Cavs to issue a statement explaining what exactly the duo was doing.
Many interpreted the celebration (see below) as Love and Irving miming smoking weed. Instead, they were just curling their imaginary mustaches. Duh.

The statement read:
“To clarify, they are quickly sharpening the end of an imaginary mustache at the end of their exchange with each other. It has nothing to do with smoking a joint as some blogs (and even some mainstream folks now) are suggesting/reporting.”
It’s good to know the Cavs are passing on grass.
