Rob Gronkowski Fined $8,268 For Throwing Sergio Brown ‘Out Of The Club’

FOXBORO, Mass. — A war of words and an extra shove emptied out Rob Gronkowski’s wallet.

The New England Patriots tight end was fined $8,268, according to the NFL, for shoving Indianapolis Colts safety Sergio Brown into the sideline after a fourth-quarter play was over Sunday. Gronk was hit with a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty.

Gronkowski told NBC Sports Network that he decided to take Brown and throw him “out of the club” after the Colts safety was “yappin’ at me the whole time.” Brown took to Twitter after the game to brag about how he “put the straps on” Gronk in the Colts’ 42-20 loss.
