The Boston Bruins are trying to take things one game at a time with their injury-depleted roster.
Bruins defenseman Torey Krug spoke to NESN’s Guerin Austin before their game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday and discussed the young D-men’s roles on Boston’s injured blue line.
“We’re having a lot of fun with the young group back there,” Krug said. “We stick to what we do best. We’re called up for a reason, guys just stick to their jobs.”
The Bruins have two big games coming up against the Montreal Canadiens and the Pittsburgh Penguins, but Krug is confident the Bruins are prepared to work hard to get the win Friday night in Columbus.
“I think we have a really focused group tonight, and we’re ready to go to work,” Krug said.
