The Boston Bruins lost to the Blue Jackets 6-2 on Saturday night, and it might have had a little something to do with a sweet save by Columbus goaltender Curtis McElhinney.

Midway through the first period, McElhinney robbed Bruins defensemen Torey Krug of a goal with a nice glove save. It kept the score tied at 1 apiece and likely gave the Blue Jackets a momentum boost.

Before Saturday’s matchup, backup goalie McElhinney was 1-6-1 with a .895 save percentage and a 3.49 goals against average.
