The Boston Bruins proved Thursday why teamwork makes the dream work.

During the first period of their matchup with the New York Islanders, the B’s showed off some nifty passing en route to a goal from winger Reilly Smith. The Bruins kept the puck moving as they brought it up the ice, making pass after pass to keep the Isles on their toes.

Center David Krejci made one crucial pass, though, giving the puck away to Milan Lucic as two New York defensemen descended on him. Lucic dished a pass to the perfectly-positioned Smith, who tipped the puck past Isles goaltender Jaroslav Halak to put the Bruins on the scoreboard first.
