Phil Smith and his 7-year-old son, Noah, became YouTube sensations this week for a video showing a rather unconventional approach to removing a tooth. The technique involved an iron, a golf ball, a piece of dental floss and some serious courage from Noah.

Amazingly, the son seems unfazed by his dad’s crazy idea. And at the end of the day, the whole thing worked.
