It was a milestone first period for David Pastrnak against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.
The Boston Bruins rookie notched his first career NHL goal, giving a much-needed spark to the Black and Gold’s offense. After a nice passing sequence on the power play, Pastrnak backhanded a rebound off Torey Krug’s one-timer that beat goaltender Ray Emery and gave the B’s a 1-0 lead.
The forward would later add a second goal and now has two goals and an assist in seven games with Boston this season.
