The Boston Bruins have a decision to make when it comes to David Pastrnak.

The rookie has displayed flashes of what made him a first-round pick in the first six games of his NHL career, and he looks like he could have staying power.

The Bruins now must decide whether they want to keep him in Boston — and burn the first year of his entry-level contract — or send him down and let him hone his skills in Providence. That first year gets burned once Pastrnak plays in more than nine games, so they must decide soon.

Dale Arnold and Billy Jaffe debated the decision on “Big Bad Bruins Live.”
