Ben Scrivens Uses Quick Reflexes To Turn Away Brad Marchand’s Snipe (Video)

The Boston Bruins are still winless in their five-game Western Conference road trip after losing to the Edmonton Oilers in a 12-round shootout Wednesday night.

But their skid could’ve come to an end if Oilers goalie Ben Scrivens hadn’t stood on his head all night long.

Scrivens’ best stop came on Brad Marchand, who after capitalizing on an Oilers turnover in the Bruins’ offensive zone ripped a shot toward the net, only to have it stonewalled by Scrivens — one of his 38 saves in the game.

Scrivens also turned away all 12 of the Bruins’ shootout opportunities in the Oilers win.
