The Boston Bruins were down early against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night, but it didn’t take long for them to get back in the game.
Vernon Fiddler put the Stars on the board 7:28 into the first period. Just over three minutes later, though, David Krejci answered for the B’s.
Dallas left some open space in front of the net while they converged on Milan Lucic along the boards. The Bruins winger swept the puck toward the offensive blue line, where rookie David Pastrnak made a heads-up play in sending a pass to Krejci, who slipped the puck past Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen for the equalizer.
