Claude Julien: Bruins Stayed Positive In Comeback Win Over Flyers (Video)

The Boston Bruins were down with less than five minutes to go. But they weren’t out.

The B’s found themselves trailing the Philadelphia Flyers by a goal late in the third period at TD Garden on Saturday afternoon. But the home team rallied, as Brad Marchand netted the equalizer with 15 seconds to spare and added the winning goal in overtime to give Boston a huge 3-2 win.

Claude Julien’s club has struggled closing out games of late, but the Bruins head coach was very pleased with the way his squad stuck with it Saturday.

“Our guys stayed positive, and like I said, we’ve been through a lot this year,” Julien told NESN’s Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley after the game. “I think our mental toughness has gotten better and better.”
