Patrice Bergeron, Dougie Hamilton Set Up Zdeno Chara’s Goal Vs. Flyers (Video)

There’s nothing like some good old-fashioned teamwork.

The Boston Bruins got off to an early lead Saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers thanks to Zdeno Chara’s goal seven minutes into the first period. And Chara scored thanks to center Patrice Bergeron and fellow defenseman Dougie Hamilton.

The group effort started with Bergeron, who did a good job fighting for the puck and keeping the play alive in the Flyers’ zone. Bergeron worked the puck back to Hamilton, who made a heads-up play in immediately sliding it to Chara.

The big Slovakian then unleashed one of his signature slap shots and put the puck in the back of the next.
