Brock Holt endeared himself to Red Sox fans last season when he thrived after being thrust into a full-time starter’s role. Though his production dipped slightly towards the end of the year, Holt proved an invaluable piece of the organization both on and off the field.
Holt, who batted .281 in 106 games in 2014, is the ultimate competitor, as seen when he took off his “Red Sox All-Access” microphone during a relay race at this year’s spring training in order to perform better. He’s often the loudest teammate in the dugout, and always chats up fellow players on the field. And despite the busy schedule, he’s sure to make time for family.
You can catch all of Holt’s hustle and hullabaloo in the latest installment of NESN’s “Red Sox All-Access” above.
Be sure to tune in to Red Sox pregame coverage in the coming days to catch more of “Red Sox All-Access” for continued inside looks at this year’s ball club.
