Cubs Fan Catches Ball In Her Beer Cup, Chugs Beer Like A Champ (Video)

It’s America’s two favorite pastimes: baseball and beer. On Saturday, one Chicago Cubs fan combined those things in the best way possible.

During Chicago’s matchup with the San Diego Padres at Wrigley Field, a foul ball off the bat of Padres hitter Yonder Alonso somehow found its way into a young woman’s beer. If that wasn’t awesome enough, she proceeded raise her cup in celebration and then chug said beer, because America.

We’ve seen plenty of attempts to catch foul balls go horribly wrong, but this right here is how it’s done.

Ironically, an example of how it isn’t done also occurred Saturday when a fan at a Toronto Blue Jays game tried to catch a ball with a can of beer.

Moral of the story: Cups can catch baseballs; cans cannot.
