The Boston Celtics held their first round of pre-draft workouts Wednesday, inviting six NBA hopefuls to their Waltham practice facility.

The players in attendance, as announced by the team, were Florida State’s Aaron Thomas, Stanford’s Anthony Brown, Maryland’s Dez Wells, Holy Cross’ Malcolm Miller, UTEP’s Julian Washburn and St. John’s SirDominic Pointer.

None of these prospects are particularly highly touted — Brown, at No. 43, is the highest-ranked on DraftExpress’ Top 100 Prospects list — but a few do boast impressive college resumes, especially Wells, who earned All-Big Ten honors this season.

Wells, a 6-foot-5 swingman, averaged 15.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game as a senior at Maryland.

Brown, who stands a tick taller than Wells at 6-foot-6, was similarly productive during his senior season with the Cardinal, averaging 14.8 points and 6.9 rebounds. He’s projected as a late second-round pick.

The Celtics, who own the 16th and 28th picks in the 2015 NBA draft, will continue to work out players in the month leading up to draft night on June 25.
