Boston Red Sox ace Clay Buchholz not only has been the team’s best pitcher in 2015, but he also has a track record of dominance against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. The right-hander is 9-3 with a 2.30 ERA in 14 career starts in Toronto.

Buchholz already has faced Toronto three times this season, and though the Red Sox are just 1-2 in his starts against the Blue Jays, the one victory came on the road. The Blue Jays own the best runs-per-game average in baseball by a large margin at 5.45 — the New York Yankees are second with 4.78 runs per contest — so Buchholz’s stats against them are impressive.

NESN’s Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy broke down Buchholz’s success in Toronto before Monday night’s Red Sox game versus the Blue Jays on “Red Sox GameDay Live.” Check out the full breakdown in the video above.
