Justin Verlander Serenades Kate Upton With ‘Total Eclipse Of The Heart’ (Video)
Justin Verlander has had some free time on his hands in 2015, but he’s certainly making the most of it.
The Detroit Tigers pitcher started the season on the disabled list with a triceps injury and is expected to return in a few days. Before he hops back in the saddle, though, Verlander had a very important mission to complete.
What mission is that, you ask? To sing “Total Eclipse of the Heart” to model girlfriend Kate Upton in honor of “National Best Friend Day,” of course.
His performance doesn’t quite stack up to The Dan Band’s, but it’s pretty close.
Verlander is no stranger to Dubsmash, as him and Upton used the app to recreate a scene from “Step Brothers” earlier this year.
