Meet Clay Buchholz’s doppelganger.
Ashe Russell, one of four prep stars to attend Day 1 of the 2015 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, is a dead ringer for the Boston Red Sox starter. MLB Network brought this to Russell’s attention Monday before the draft began and the high school pitcher couldn’t help but chuckle.

Russell, a right-handed hurler out of Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, is ranked No. 14 on MLB.com’s top 200 draft prospects list. He committed to Texas A&M.
Monday is a big day for Russell, but the 18-year-old needs a new haircut — a la Buchholz’s new ‘do — if he really wants to look like his major league counterpart.
