The man who spearheaded the investigation into Tom Brady and the New England Patriots will be in attendance at the quarterback’s appeal hearing.
According to multiple reports, Ted Wells will attend the proceedings Tuesday in New York as Brady attempts to have his four-game suspension stemming from the Deflategate investigation decreased or reversed.
Wells reportedly will answer questions and provide clarification about his report, the science of which both the Patriots and independent research company American Enterprise Institute have called into question.
Mark Daniels of The Providence Journal, citing an NFL spokesman, was the first to report the news Monday morning.
Representing Brady at the hearing will be attorney Jeffery Kessler and NFLPA general counsel Tom DePaso.
