Terrell Owens Sells Nantucket-Style California Home For $2.2M (Photos)

You probably know Terrell Owens as the scandalous former NFL wide receiver famous for outrageous touchdown dances, spectacular play and even reality television shows. You may not know, however, that his persona doesn’t mirror his taste in real estate.

The six-time Pro Bowler recently sold his Southern California estate, but the Nantucket-style house isn’t what you’d expect from the controversial athlete. Terrell Owens trading in his cleats for Sperry boat shoes and salmon-colored shorts definitely is a tough image to process.

The Sherman Oaks, Calif., property was put on the market just 18 months after he and his now-estranged wife purchased the home, and it ended up selling for $2.2 million. The 15-year NFL veteran filed for divorced from then-wife Rachael Snider on Jan. 26, 2015, after having been married for only three days — Owens averaged more receptions per game (4.9) during his illustrious career than days married.

The 4,250-square-foot home comes complete with five bedrooms, five bathrooms and several living areas, with special features including a customized pool, spa and steam room.

While the house doesn’t necessarily scream Terrell Owens, it is nonetheless a beautiful piece of property.
