New England Patriots fans’ reactions to the team’s offseason would lead you to believe otherwise, however.

Fans reacted poorly, to put it mildly, to the departure of cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner, running back Shane Vereen and defensive tackle Vince Wilfork in free agency. Cutting veteran cornerbacks Kyle Arrington and Alfonzo Dennard later in the offseason didn’t exactly make the panic subside.

Despite the loss of numerous veterans, the Patriots still are stacked, however, and many very talented players will be out of jobs as head coach Bill Belichick will be forced to make tough cuts in early September.
