Cardale Jones threw a lot of lines in the water Wednesday night. A day later, he finally got a bite.
The Ohio State quarterback was quite the busy man on social media during the 2015 ESPYs, sending out a series of tweets directed at, among others, UFC fighter Ronda Rousey.

So, yeah. Jones is a Ronda Rousey fan.
Much to Jones’ chagrin, Rousey — who won an ESPY for Best Fighter — didn’t respond to the Buckeye’s chirps Wednesday night. On Thursday, however, she finally decided to address the issue in a special video message.

Unfortunately for Cardale, we don’t think Rousey is interested and is just trying to be polite here. Given her track record in responding to other athletes, though, we’d say Jones definitely got off easy.
