The Los Angeles Angels traded for David DeJesus on Tuesday, and his wife couldn’t be happier about it.

The Angels and the Tampa Bay Rays completed a trade Tuesday, sending DeJesus to Los Angeles in exchange for minor league pitcher Eduar Lopez. And after learning about her husband’s trade, Kim DeJesus took to Twitter to voice her glee about the move.

However, some Rays fans weren’t happy with her tweets and voiced their displeasure over Twitter.

It turns out there is a rather simple explanation for her happiness over the move, though.

Hard to argue with that.

The outfielder was hitting .259 with five home runs and 26 RBIs for the Rays this season. He spent most of his time in left field, but he has the ability to play all outfield positions.

He wasn’t the only one traded to Los Angeles on Tuesday. The Cleveland Indians reportedly dealt David Murphy to the Angels in exchange for infielder Eric Stamets, according to multiple reports, and they acquired outfielder Shane Victorino from the Boston Red Sox on Monday.

So it looks like the Angels have three new players — and one very happy wife — for the stretch run.
