It’s the rematch that has been four years in the making.
Team USA faces Japan on Sunday for a shot at redemption and glory, but most importantly, for a chance to win the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. In 2011, the Americans lost to Japan in penalty kicks. This time around, the U.S. looks more poised to bring home the crown than ever. Team USA has not allowed a goal since the 27th minute of its opening game against Australia. That’s 513 scoreless minutes for this defense.
