NBC Releases 2015-16 NHL TV Schedule; Bruins To Be Featured In 12 Games

The Boston Bruins will play on NBC and NBC Sports Network a combined 12 times during the 2015-16 NHL season, highlighted by the 2016 Winter Classic against the Montreal Canadiens on Jan. 1 and Thanksgiving Showdown against the New York Rangers on Nov. 27.

NBC, the NHL’s national television rights holder in the United States, released its schedule Monday for the upcoming campaign.

Here are all the Bruins games on NBC and NBCSN (all times ET):

Oct. 21 vs. PHI at 8 p.m.
Nov. 27 vs. NYR at 1 p.m.
Dec. 9 at MTL at 7:30 p.m.
Dec. 16 vs. PIT at 8 p.m.
Jan. 1 vs. MTL at 1 p.m.
Jan. 13 at PHI at 8 p.m.
Feb. 14 at DET at 3 p.m.
Feb. 24 vs. PIT at 7:30 p.m.
Feb. 28 vs. TBL at 6:30 p.m.
March 15 at SJS at 10 p.m.
March 23 at NYR at 8 p.m.
April 3 at CHI at 12:30 p.m.

The B’s also will appear on NBCSN’s “Wednesday Night Rivalry” on six occasions. The first matchup is Oct. 21 against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Bruins open the 2015-16 season Oct. 8 against the Winnipeg Jets at TD Garden. It’s the first of three consecutive home games to open the regular season.
