BOSTON — The Red Sox celebrated the Fourth of July in style.
Both the Red Sox and Houston Astros wore USA-inspired uniforms Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park in honor of America’s birthday. Each team sported unique hats and donned jerseys that featured stars in the numbers and an Old Glory patch on the right sleeve.

While the uniforms didn’t quite reach the level of Jonny Gomes’ White House attire, it’s only because the former Red Sox outfielder set the bar so high. The patriotic unis definitely were sweet.
