We now have a better idea of what football’s return to Fenway Park will look like.
Boston College and Notre Dame, who will square off at the Boston Red Sox’s home Nov. 21, each released their uniform plans Thursday for that highly anticipated game. BC will rock a throwback look, while Notre Dame opted to go with a much more modern design.
First, Boston College. The Eagles announced they’ll go with the throwbacks to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the team’s 1985 Cotton Bowl victory and the famous Doug Flutie “Hail Mary” game in 1984.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame appropriately will go all green, not only because of their Irish heritage, but also as a nod to Fenway’s Green Monster.
