Hanley Ramirez Returns, Pablo Sandoval Still Out For Red Sox Vs. Rays

The Boston Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday night without two prominent hitters in their lineup. One of those bats is back as the Sox look to make it three wins in a row.

Hanley Ramirez returns to Boston’s lineup batting seventh and playing left field for Saturday afternoon’s tilt against the Rays at Fenway Park. Third baseman Pablo Sandoval remains on the bench after missing Friday’s contest, and Travis Shaw gets the start at the hot corner batting sixth.

Mookie Betts also will watch from the sidelines, as Jackie Bradley Jr. will play center field and bat ninth. Rusney Castillo gets the call in right field and will bat seventh.

Joe Kelly will take the mound for Boston and will be caught by backstop Ryan Hanigan, who bats eighth.
