Wily Mo Pena Hits Monster Home Run, Gets Stuffed Animal As Prize (Video)

Wily Mo Pena still is doing Wily Mo Pena things.

The former MLB slugger and ex-Boston Red Sox outfielder now plays for the Rakuten Golden Eagles in Japan’s Pacific League. So how are things going over there for Wily Mo?

Judging by the following video, we’d say pretty well.

That’s Pena hitting an absolute bomb in the seventh inning of Thursday night’s 4-1 win over the Chiba Lotte Marines. And because this apparently is a thing in Japan, the 33-year-old was presented with a brand-new stuffed animal after crossing home plate.

Isn’t that special?

We would have held onto the unique gift for the rest of our lives, but since Pena is a nice guy, he tossed it up to a lucky fan in the stands. Way to go, Wily.
