Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Raul’s Real Madrid Goal-Scoring Record (Video)

Welcome back to the record books, Cristiano Ronaldo. Again.

Ronaldo broke Raul’s record for most goals scored for Real Madrid on Saturday, netting in the first half of his team’s 3-0 La Liga (Spanish first division) win over Levante. Ronaldo’s goal gave him 324 in his career with the Spanish giant.

Ronaldo, 30, needed less than seven seasons to out-gun Raul, who played parts of 16 seasons — between 1994 and 2010 — in Real Madrid’s first team.

Prior to the goal, Ronaldo hadn’t scored in league play in 399 minutes. However, he maintains his league lead in goals thanks to his explosion against Espanyol on Sept. 12 and Saturday’s record-breaking feat.
