Dez Bryant might be getting closer to returning to the Dallas Cowboys lineup, but it appears to be optimistic to expect the superstar wide receiver to play Week 7 against the New York Giants.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport provided the latest update on Bryant’s status.
Could Dez Bryant play Sunday? From putting the info together, sounds incredibly unlikely. May not even be practicing yet but time will tell

Bryant suffered a broken foot in a Week 1 win over the Giants and was expected to miss anywhere from six weeks to 12 weeks, based on various reports.
The Cowboys have struggled in his absence with a 1-3 record, including a three-game losing streak.
It also didn’t help that starting quarterback Tony Romo suffered a broken left clavicle in Week 2 and could be out until Week 10. Dallas has averaged just 222 pass yards in three games without Romo and Bryant.
The Cowboys need these players back as soon as possible because their upcoming schedule is brutal. They play the undefeated Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers, as well as the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles over the next seven weeks.
