The Houston Astros aren’t done playing spoiler.
The Astros pulled off a big 5-2 upset win over the Kansas City Royals in Game 1 of the teams’ American League Division Series, and they did it with the long ball.
New Britain, Conn., native George Springer belted a solo shot in the top of the fifth inning, extending Houston’s lead to 4-2 at the time.

The Astros weren’t done, though. Colby Rasmus put the game out of reach with a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning.

The Astros will try to take a commanding lead in the best-of-five series when the teams face off Friday at 3:45 p.m. ET.
