Jurgen Klopp Dubs Self ‘The Normal One’ In Opposition To Jose Mourinho (Video)

We always knew Jurgen Klopp could command a room in Germany. We now can add England to the list.

Klopp lived up to his reputation as a media darling Friday during his introductory press conference as Liverpool’s manager, answering reporters’ questions with expected honesty, wit and humor.

But when one scribe asked Klopp to compare his own arrival in English soccer with that of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho in 2004, the German nearly brought down the house with a killer one-liner.

Klopp cut short his sabbatical after four months when he took up the reins at Anfield on Thursday. Liverpool has yet to play under Klopp, but the new manager already has earned points in the personality and popularity contests that add spice to those that take place on the field in the Premier League.

Step aside, Mourinho. There’s a new press conference sheriff in town.
