Dennis Seidenberg Flattens Daniel Carr In Bruins’ Win Over Canadiens (GIF)

Welcome to the NHL, Daniel Carr.

The 24-year-old Montreal Canadiens winger was playing in just his second career game Wednesday when he felt the full force of a Dennis Seidenberg hit.

It’s OK, rook. It happens to the best of us.

Seidenberg, who sat out the previous two games for the Boston Bruins, wasn’t afraid to throw his body around in his return to the lineup. The veteran defenseman notched five hits in the Bruins’ 3-1 win over the Canadiens, tying forwards Matt Beleskey and Landon Ferraro for most on the team.

Carr proved he can dish out some punishment, too, finishing with four hits despite seeing a game-low 8:09 of ice time.
