Scott Chandler is not Rob Gronkowski. Yet for a split second Sunday, it was fair to question whether Gronk secretly ditched his No. 87 jersey in favor of No. 88.
That’s because Chandler did his best Gronkowski impression in the first quarter of the New England Patriots’ Week 13 game against the Philadelphia Eagles at Gillette Stadium.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady slipped a defender, stepped up into the pocket and lofted a deep pass to Chandler, who made an excellent leaping catch. The veteran tight end then carried a couple of Eagles defenders for some additional ground en route to a 30-yard gain.
The Patriots scored two plays later when Brady hit running back James White with a 4-yard touchdown pass.
