Ted Ginn Jr. Drops Pass, Which Is Intercepted, Then Whiffs On Fumble (Video)

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Ted Ginn Jr. has frustrated many teammates, coaches and fans with dropped passes over the years, but his latest flub was extremely costly to his Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.

Facing second-and-10 from the Denver Broncos’ 28-yard line in the third quarter Sunday, Panthers quarterback Cam Newton threw a bullet to Ginn, who unfortunately for Carolina let it slip through his hands to a waiting opponent, T.J. Ward.

Yes, that’s Ginn almost gaining redemption after Ward fumbled the football. But we guess butterfingers extend to fumble recoveries, too, as Danny Trevathan came up with the ball for the Broncos.
