Tim Tebow Throws Proms For Special Needs Teens On ‘Night To Shine’ (Photos)

Tim Tebow is putting some of his time, money and high profile to good use.

The Tim Tebow Foundation sponsored over 200 proms last Friday for special needs students as part of a “Night to Shine,” according to the foundation’s website. The events took place simultaneously at churches in 48 U.S. states and eight countries, with over 30,000 people attending.

Tebow donned some of his finest attire and attended several proms as one of over 70,000 volunteers who helped organize the events. The former NFL quarterback and 2007 Heisman Trophy winner shared some of the scenes on Instagram.

This year’s “Night to Shine” apparently was much bigger than last year’s, when around 7,000 people attended 45 proms sponsored by Tebow’s foundation.

Tebow hasn’t played in the NFL since the Philadelphia Eagles cut him in the 2015 preseason, but he should take a bow for providing unforgettable experiences for many young people just two days before Valentine’s Day.
