College basketball’s best and biggest rivalry takes center stage Wednesday night, as the No. 20 Duke University Blue Devils march down Tobacco Road into the Dean Smith Center in hopes of knocking off their archrivals, the No. 5 North Carolina Tar Heels.
Despite opening ACC play 4-4 and falling out of the national polls for the first time since 2007, the Blue Devils have climbed back into contention and sit just two games behind UNC in conference standings. They’ve won four in a row heading into Chapel Hill, including wins over then-No. 13 Louisville and then-No. 7 Virginia last week.
North Carolina has slipped of late, losing two in a row earlier this month to then-No. 19 Louisville and unranked Notre Dame. The team has rebounded with two impressive wins since.
Here’s how to watch Duke-UNC.
