Zac Brown Band is returning to America’s Most Beloved Ballpark.
Live Nation announced Monday that Zac Brown Band will perform two shows at Fenway Park on Saturday, Aug. 20 and Sunday, Aug. 21. The shows come as part of the band’s “Black Out The Sun” 2016 tour, which kicks off Thursday, May 19 at Hartford’s XFINITY Theatre.
Tickets to the Fenway Park shows are scheduled to go on sale for the general public March 11. The 26-date tour comes on the heels of the popular country group’s largest North American tour to date, which featured a sold-out, three-night run at the home of the Boston Red Sox.
It figures to be a busy summer at Fenway Park, which will host several concerts in addition to its usual Red Sox action. Dead & Company (July 15 and 16), James Taylor (Aug. 3), Pearl Jam (Aug. 5 and 7) and Billy Joel (Aug. 18) all are scheduled to perform at Fenway this summer.
