Canadian Junior Hockey Fight Breaks Out After Moose Leg Theft (Video)

Oh, Canada.

A huge on-ice brawl broke out at a recent junior hockey game in Saskatchewan, and it honestly might be the most bizarre reason for a fight you’ve ever heard.

The Flin Flon Bombers (seriously) Weyburn Red Wings literally did battle after a recent game, a spat sparked by the attempted theft of a moose leg. Again, seriously.

As tradition goes, a frozen moose leg is thrown on the ice after Flin Flon wins. The Bombers skated to a 3-1 win in this game, which means it was time for the moose leg to go for a skate.

Only one problem, though. When the leg was thrown on the ice, the Weyburn team tried to steal the leg. You can actually see in the YouTube video below (around the 25-second mark) the Red Wings coach points at the moose leg. Soon after, a Bombers player races down the ice and the feud begins.
