Stephen Curry is an incredibly popular man, a notion reinforced by a potentially scary moment Wednesday night in Utah.

The Golden State Warriors superstar took time before a game against the Jazz to sign autographs for fans. Obviously, the idea of getting the reigning NBA MVP’s autograph is tantalizing for fans young and old, and those fans will go to some pretty extreme limits to secure the signature.

Some fans got a little carried away Wednesday night, and a plastic railing wasn’t enough to hold them back. As Curry signed autographs, some fans came crashing to the floor as the railing gave away and the fans fell from the seats.

Luckily, no one was seriously injured, and hopefully this sort of incident leads to increased safety measures moving forward, especially considering Curry is basically treated like a member of The Beatles at this point.

Curry also made sure he did right for those fans who fell.
