Jim Harbaugh came over the top Thursday afternoon.
A trio of fellow college football coaches — Mark Dantonio of Michigan State, Bret Bielema of Arkansas and Butch Jones of Tennessee — took turns delivering shots at Harbaugh via Twitter on Wednesday, which was met with radio silence for a while. Harbaugh evidently felt enough was enough once Jones joined the fray, however, and the Michigan head coach fired back with a doozy.
Basically, Dantonio and Bielema poked fun at Harbaugh for having his team conduct spring practices at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., suggesting the Wolverines should drop by and maybe grab a bite after.
After early meetings & lift tomorrow with our players. Thinking about heading to watch an open practice tomorrow at IMG with the staff. #WPS

Jones decided to chime in, too.

Jones’ dig seemingly put Harbaugh over the edge, though, presumably because the Tennessee athletic department recently has been in hot water for a Title IX lawsuit filed against the school.
Suggestion to my Rocky Top colleague, rather than lunch in Florida you might spend your time and focus attending to your present team.

Game. Set. Match. Don’t screw with Harbaugh on Twitter.
