Reggie Jackson’s celebration at the end of the Detroit Pistons’ 88-82 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night didn’t sit well with Russell Westbrook, who called his former teammate’s antics “some real (BS).”
The Thunder point guard wasn’t the only one miffed, though. Kevin Durant, who didn’t play Tuesday, also had a bone to pick with Jackson when asked about the questionable celebration.
“It was bush league, in my opinion,” Durant told reporters Thursday. “Jumping up and down, running around. I understand that you’re happy you won the game, but our whole team didn’t play. We’d beat the hell out of them if we did. I normally won’t talk like that, but it pissed me off. But what can I do about it? Some guys are who they are.”

Durant and Serge Ibaka both sat out of Tuesday’s game to rest, so the seven-time All-Star could be correct: The result might have been different if Oklahoma City had its complete cast of characters.
But it’s interesting to see the Thunder so upset about Jackson’s behavior, especially since Jackson didn’t leave on the best terms when OKC traded him to Detroit last season.
