The Cleveland Cavaliers might be completely dysfunctional right now, but at least one player apparently is looking to add a new champion to his life.
It seems All-Star forward Kevin Love has his eyes on Charlotte, the current WWE Divas champion and daughter of legendary two-time Hall of Famer Ric Flair.
Both Flairs appeared on Sports Illustrated’s “SI Now” this week, and the elder champion seemed to be playing matchmaker for his daughter.
“She’s being very shy,” Ric said. “Kevin Love wants her digits. … The first thing he said to me was, ‘I’m a huge fan of yours, but I love your daughter.’ ”
Flair is a self-proclaimed Cavs fan and could frequently be seen at games last season cheering the team on.
“He’s single, he makes a lot of money, he’s a man,” Ric said after Charlotte suggested her father was making something out of nothing. “I think he’s fantastic, he’s a good guy.”
Charlotte added that Love isn’t the only professional athlete looking to get her digits, noting she has another potential suitor who plays for the New York Giants.
