The Big East tournament is down to its final four.
Both Villanova and Providence cruised in their conference tournament openers, earning a Friday night date at Madison Square Garden.
Top-seeded Villanova advanced to the semifinals with an 81-67 quarterfinal win over Georgetown behind 25 points from Josh Hart. Providence, meanwhile, used 38 points from Ben Bentil on its way to sending Butler packing with a 74-60.
Tip-off for Friday night’s semifinal matchup is at 6:30 p.m. ET.
