At a ripe 104 years old, Fenway Park is the oldest baseball park in the country. But that doesn’t mean it can’t still get a few upgrades.

Boston Red Sox ownership once again made some improvements to America’s Most Beloved Ballpark this offseason, and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh was on hand Friday to get an exclusive tour ahead of Monday’s home opener.

Among the changes: 222 new seats, new protective netting, virtual reality stations and some scrumptious new food options.

NESN’s Gary Striewski was on hand for all the action Friday morning. Check it out in the video above, as seen on NESN’s “Red Sox First Pitch.”
